Jair Nava vs Selestino Godines

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Torreon Yanez, Torreon,  taking place on 26/08/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jair Nava (9 - 4 - 3) who hails from Saltillo, Mexico and Selestino Godines(10 - 8 - 2) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Nava weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces, while Godines weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Cassillas, and the three ringside judges are Rio Milan, Dimos Lona and Selestino Briones.
