Tariq Basher vs David May

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Amjad Haider Gym, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 26/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Basher (10 - 5 - 4) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and David May(7 - 1) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Basher and May weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Diab, and the three ringside judges are Farhan Younis, Azam Hamdan and Rehan Sabet.
