Brett Steel vs Ponce Caudillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at North Austin Event Center, Austin,  taking place on 24/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Steel (8(2) - 0) who hails from Santa Clarita, USA and Ponce Caudillo(1 - 3 - 1) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Steel and Caudillo weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joel Abraham, and the three ringside judges are Theo Whitehead, James Curto and Mark Evans.  

Round 1: 

Steel steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Steel holds on to his opponent.  Steel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Steel and breaks the clinch.  
Steel is on target with a left uppercut to Caudillo's body.  
Steel sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Steel is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Steel clinches his opponent.  Steel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Steel throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Steel holds on to his opponent.  Steel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Steel uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Caudillo behind the head.
