Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 16/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Axtell (9 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and David Bassolino(13 - 1 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Axtell and Bassolino weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Martin, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, James Westwood and Mark Elgin.
