Ignado Escobar vs Paco Platero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Matas, Asuncion,  taking place on 29/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Paraguay-Asuncion Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ignado Escobar (11 - 0) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Paco Platero(11 - 0) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Escobar and Platero weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zelipe Colmenares, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Machado, Rodrigo Gordillo and Nemesio Vidales.

Platero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Platero tries to land a left hook, but Escobar blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Platero is on target with a jab.  
Platero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Platero lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Platero tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Escobar is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  As Platero tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
