Saturnin Pesigan vs Alfonso Riveron

Boxing Daily Report from the Phiri Promotions promoted show at Imus Conejo, Imus,  taking place on 29/08/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saturnin Pesigan (8 - 5 - 6) who hails from Imus, Philippines and Alfonso Riveron(7 - 4 - 1) from General Trias, Philippines.  Both Pesigan and Riveron weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Arong, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Binaoro, Santiago Mieras and Larenzo Digamon.  

Round 1: 

Riveron advances into close range and drives a right hook into Pesigan's ribcage.
