Jeraldo Tabora vs Corey Shanklin

Boxing Daily Report from the Goose Hollow Promotions promoted show at Buffalo State Sports Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 04/09/2024:

Clearly Goose Hollow Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jeraldo Tabora (7 - 0) who hails from New York City, USA and Corey Shanklin(13 - 4 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Tabora weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while Shanklin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gethin Ranieri, and the three ringside judges are Ian Shea, Max Bellin and Zach Moriarty.  

Round 1: 

Tabora is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Tabora pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shanklin tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

As Shanklin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tabora has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
