Robert Broaden vs Amer Naseer

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 16/08/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Robert Broaden (10 - 0) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Amer Naseer(2 - 5 - 2) from San Francisco, USA.  Broaden weighed in at 200 pounds, while Naseer weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Rasul, and the three ringside judges are Michael Toste, Brett Sproule and Mark Evans.

Broaden tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Broaden lands an overhand right.  
Broaden closes the distance.  Broaden digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Naseer dabs at his face checking for damage.  Naseer has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Broaden tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.

Broaden advances into close range.  Naseer attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Broaden's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Broaden lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Broaden manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Broaden connects with a left hook.  
Naseer walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Naseer lands a jab.  
Broaden steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Naseer connects with a cross.  
Naseer steps to the outside.  Broaden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Broaden lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

You can sense Naseer is getting frustrated in there.   He steps inside, but then strikes Broaden with his head!  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Broaden to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Naseer and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.
