Shing Tay vs Kei Kurokawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Aidoo Promotions promoted show at Royal Hotel Hiroshima, Hiroshima,  taking place on 06/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shing Tay (5 - 0) who hails from Nanjing, China and Kei Kurokawa(4 - 6 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Tay and Kurokawa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Matsushima, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Mae, Jiro Kono and Nori Saito.  

Round 1: 

Tay advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to Kurokawa's body.  
Tay lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Tay lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Tay steps inside and manouvers Kurokawa onto the ropes.  Tay lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Tay hits home with a left uppercut.  
Tay digs in a left uppercut to Kurokawa's body.  As Tay tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kurokawa dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tay lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kurokawa tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tay hits home with a cross.  
Tay walks his opponent into the corner.  Tay digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kurokawa throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Tay lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.

Tay gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.
