Anton Banasik vs Syed Masih

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Butu Palace, Baku,  taking place on 30/08/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Anton Banasik (9(7) - 0) who hails from Bratsk, Russia and Syed Masih(4 - 7 - 3) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Banasik and Masih weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shamil Abdurrahmirov, and the three ringside judges are Khamis Gadjibabayev, Qudrat Faradjev and Israfil Hajiyev.  

Round 1: 

Banasik gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Masih hits home with a left hook.  
Banasik is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Banasik walks his opponent into a corner.  Banasik lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
