Josh Mushega vs David Odera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Gulu Singhal, Gulu,  taking place on 02/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Josh Mushega (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and David Odera(9 - 5 - 2) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Mushega and Odera weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Mukooza, and the three ringside judges are Quarren Adubango, Tobias Nkore and Chiamaka Mugasa.  

Round 1: 

Mushega steps inside and connects with a left hook.
