Khalid Begum vs Luister Mugenga

Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Mbonye, Kampala,  taking place on 02/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Begum (7 - 5) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Luister Mugenga(6 - 4 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Begum weighed in at 121 pounds and 8 ounces, while Mugenga weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keshawn Wamala, and the three ringside judges are Tavarius Tebazaalwa, Chata Saleh and LeBron Omondi.
