Ioakim Goncharov vs Avel Babich

Boxing Daily Report from the Nsiah Promotions promoted show at Kharkiv Domani, Kharkiv,  taking place on 02/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ukraine-Kharkiv Oblast Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ioakim Goncharov (11 - 5 - 2) who hails from Kharkiv, Ukraine and Avel Babich(11 - 3 - 3) from Kharkiv, Ukraine.  Goncharov weighed in at 238 pounds and 14 ounces, while Babich weighed in at 257 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyrylo Petrus, and the three ringside judges are Kolya Tyukalov, Viktor Burak and Vitali Ivanowski.
