Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Harare Zvinavashe, Harare,  taking place on 03/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Mnkandla (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Theo Vermeulen(16(1) - 0) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Mnkandla and Vermeulen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Mubako, and the three ringside judges are John Ngoma, Sam Rodger and Rex Chiweshe.
