Kaede Yamashiro vs Fumio Tanaka

Boxing Daily Report from the Katembula Promotions promoted show at Shizuoka Koga, Shizuoka,  taking place on 20/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Shizuoka Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kaede Yamashiro (10 - 0) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Fumio Tanaka(8 - 2) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Both Yamashiro and Tanaka weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Asano, and the three ringside judges are Michi Anzai, Hideki Machida and Keiichi Hatanaka.  

Round 1: 

Tanaka closes the distance.  Yamashiro lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
