Leonardo Merino vs Santiago Santibanez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Alto Parana promoted show at Alejandro Cilia Gym, Ciudad del Este,  taking place on 08/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay-Alto Parana Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Merino (7 - 5 - 5) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Santiago Santibanez(9 - 5 - 6) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  Both Merino and Santibanez weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elias Coronel, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Verano, Edmundo Javier and Xabat Verano.
