Kei Ikeda vs Woo-young Joo

Boxing Daily Report from the ノックアウトボクシング promoted show at Green Arena, Hiroshima,  taking place on 21/08/2024:

Clearly ノックアウトボクシング have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kei Ikeda (6 - 0) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Woo-young Joo(5 - 0 - 1) from Seoul, South Korea.  Ikeda weighed in at 108 pounds, while Joo weighed in at 107 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Otani, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Nishimoto, Nori Oye and Keiichi Nakata.  

Round 1: 

Ikeda gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Joo's body.

Ikeda connects with a left hook.  Ikeda throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
