Diego Olgin vs Gig Navas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Andalusia promoted show at MCK Gym, Malaga,  taking place on 09/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Olgin (5 - 0) who hails from Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain and Gig Navas(1 - 2 - 3) from Granada, Spain.  Olgin weighed in at 160 pounds, while Navas weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Solomon, and the three ringside judges are Ulises San Jose, Cortez Portilla and Carlos Solomon.  

Round 1: 

Olgin advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  Olgin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Olgin pushes his forearm into Navas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Olgin.
