Louis Obanda vs Alec Matonka

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mombasa Municipal Stadium, Mombasa,  taking place on 21/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Louis Obanda (12 - 3 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Alec Matonka(14 - 2) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Obanda and Matonka weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Badini, and the three ringside judges are Nwa Lugano, Joey Keino and Tavon Wanga.
