Phil McCort vs John McPherson

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Marriott Hotel, Bristol,  taking place on 13/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Phil McCort (6 - 0) who hails from London, UK and John McPherson(3 - 2 - 2) from Leicester, UK.  McCort weighed in at 241 pounds and 5 ounces, while McPherson weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Lennon, and the three ringside judges are Theo Coslett, Paul Hector and Patrick Cameron.
