Theophilus Faruk vs Franchot Nicolas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Nigeria-Kwara State Gym, Ilorin,  taking place on 12/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the African Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Theophilus Faruk (16(12) - 0) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Franchot Nicolas(12(2) - 4(3)) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both Faruk and Nicolas weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akeem Nworah, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Acquah, Tunde Balogun and Majid Farooq.
