Dario Merced vs Lloyd Vaughn

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 27/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the North American Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dario Merced (9 - 3 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Lloyd Vaughn(11 - 3) from Birmingham, USA.  Both Merced and Vaughn weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Massimo Alemanno, and the three ringside judges are Rich Lawter, Cody Craighead and Ben Hopkins.  

Round 1: 

Vaughn closes the distance.  Merced lands a right hook.
