Carlos Pelayo vs Jose Garza

Boxing Daily Report from the Ballantyne Promotions promoted show at Panama City Morado, Panama City,  taking place on 12/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Central American Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Pelayo (16(2) - 1) who hails from San Salvador, El Salvador and Jose Garza(12 - 2 - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Pelayo weighed in at 140 pounds, while Garza weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Alamillo, and the three ringside judges are Rio Mazariegos, Oihane Villatoro and Vicente Madrid.
