Kyle Daun vs Shaun Allan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Saskatchewan promoted show at Saskatoon Cattell, Saskatoon,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kyle Daun (8(2) - 2(2)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Shaun Allan(9 - 6(1) - 2) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Daun and Allan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Neathery, and the three ringside judges are Rob Howden, Borden Dalle and Johnny Neilson.  

Round 1: 

Daun advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Daun throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Daun clinches his opponent.  Daun pushes his forearm into Allan's face.  The referee warns Daun and breaks the clinch.  
Daun walks Allan down, trapping him in a corner.  Daun lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Daun holds on to his opponent.  Daun tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Allan's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Daun to stop fouling.  
Daun steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  Daun clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Allan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Daun finds the target with a jab.  
Daun is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Daun clinches his opponent.  Daun leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Daun's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Daun is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Daun is looking to close the distance and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  Daun clinches his opponent.  Daun is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Daun's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Allan throws a right hook, but Daun holds on to his opponent.  Daun pushes his forearm into Allan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Daun to stop fouling.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Allan.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Daun pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Allan is looking to keep his distance.  Daun finds the target with a jab.  
Daun lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.
