Peter McCleary vs Fionn Berne

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Paul Cochrane Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Celtic Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter McCleary (14(2) - 1 - 2) who hails from Limerick, Ireland and Fionn Berne(11 - 4(1)) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both McCleary and Berne weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Rabbitt, and the three ringside judges are Michael Corcoran, Liam Ryan and Rory Carver.
