Garland Gasson vs Benedict Madjo

Boxing Daily Report from the Badalian Promotions promoted show at Maroua Malot, Maroua,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Extreme-Nord Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Garland Gasson (10 - 3(1)) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Benedict Madjo(11 - 2 - 3) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Both Gasson and Madjo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oriel Melaga, and the three ringside judges are Neville Oliver, Albain Nguekam and Canon Machin.  

Round 1: 

Gasson is looking to keep his distance.  Gasson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Madjo.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
