Rob Aitken vs Michael Samson

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Floyd Johnston Gym, Quebec City,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Aitken (8 - 6 - 2) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Michael Samson(5 - 9 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Aitken and Samson weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Destin Dauphin, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Kopa, Prewitt Gedeon and Olier Paradis.  

Round 1: 

Samson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.
