Xavion Merced vs Luis Santana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Bolivar promoted show at Magangue Gomez, Magangue,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Bolivar Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavion Merced (12 - 1) who hails from Cartagena, Colombia and Luis Santana(14(2) - 2) from Cartagena, Colombia.  Both Merced and Santana weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eloy Celestino, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Suarez, Neper Eusebio and Ora Jarquin.
