Ricardo Vallecillo vs Angel Benavides

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Penate, San Jose,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Vallecillo (3 - 5 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Angel Benavides(2 - 0 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Vallecillo and Benavides weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Vegas, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Rada, Xabat Velez and Sierra Abela.
