Roman Rendon vs Ignado Montesino

Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Havana Capellan, Havana,  taking place on 15/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roman Rendon (8 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Ignado Montesino(11 - 3 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Rendon and Montesino weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Pico, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Pico, Reyes Amaro and Jax Telleria.  

Round 1: 

Montesino feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand left.  
Montesino gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Montesino is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Montesino manouvers Rendon into the corner.  Montesino pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rendon connects with a right hook.
