Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 23/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brad Eidson (8 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Joel Smailes(9 - 3 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Eidson and Smailes weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Cacciari, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Ian Norris and Inigo Craigen.
