Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo promoted show at Santo Domingo Norte Casado, Santo Domingo Norte,  taking place on 16/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Marta (10 - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Xavion Solorzano(13 - 1 - 1) from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic.  Marta weighed in at 140 pounds, while Solorzano weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Senon Barcenas, and the three ringside judges are Diego Rodrigo, Federico Francisco and Carlos Acosta.
