James Mambwete vs Max Mensah

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 01/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Mambwete (6 - 0) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Max Mensah(8 - 5 - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Mambwete weighed in at 130 pounds, while Mensah weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arali Kessels, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Jali, Max De Jager and Clinton Nyauza.
