Jere Itkonen vs Armas Ylikangas

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Toolo Sports Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 25/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Uusimaa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MTV Sport 1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jere Itkonen (11 - 2 - 1) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Armas Ylikangas(12 - 2 - 2) from Espoo, Finland.  Itkonen weighed in at 212 pounds and 9 ounces, while Ylikangas weighed in at 239 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Niko Kumpula, and the three ringside judges are Valdemar Makela, Pekka Waisanen and Heikki Laitinen.
