Leon Adusei vs Mykelti Bimi

Boxing Daily Report from the Quansah Promotions promoted show at Dom Addo Gym, Accra,  taking place on 19/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Adusei (7 - 5 - 4) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Mykelti Bimi(6 - 0) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Adusei and Bimi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Uland Attakora, and the three ringside judges are Neil Sribor, Louis Kugblenu and Vashon Asamoah.  

Round 1: 

Bimi lands with a solid jab.  
Bimi advances into close range.  Bimi retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Adusei accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Bimi.  
Bimi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Bimi is on target with a right hook.  
Bimi advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to Adusei's body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Adusei dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bimi advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bimi is on target with a left hook.
