Jarek Twardzik vs Dominic Deasmhumhain

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 18/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jarek Twardzik (7 - 0) who hails from Gdynia, Poland and Dominic Deasmhumhain(14 - 4 - 3) from Waterford, Ireland.  Both Twardzik and Deasmhumhain weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Power, and the three ringside judges are David McCrae, Jay McCaa and Ahmed Zakaria.  

Round 1: 

Deasmhumhain steps inside.  Twardzik sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Deasmhumhain attempts to land a left hook, but Twardzik slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Twardzik has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
