Enzo Turco vs Vicenzo Saporito

Boxing Daily Report from the Owusu Promotions promoted show at Rome Conti, Rome,  taking place on 21/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Enzo Turco (9 - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Rome, Italy and Vicenzo Saporito(9 - 7 - 2) from Foggia, Italy.  Both Turco and Saporito weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tino Fiori, and the three ringside judges are Silvano Viani, Sergio Raia and Vicenzo Alemanno.  

Round 1: 

Saporito pivots to the left of his opponent.  Turco tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Saporito hits home with a cross.  Saporito throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Turco to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Saporito and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Saporito pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.
