Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 28/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are David Haw (7 - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Brin Shubin(9 - 5 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Haw and Shubin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Lawrie, and the three ringside judges are Alec Saghatelian, Paul Elmasyan and Mark McBride.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Haw dabs at his face checking for damage.  Haw has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Shubin switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Haw slips the shot and counters with a cross.
