Kazuhiko Igarashi vs Hitoshi Aki

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kazuhiko Igarashi (14 - 2 - 3) who hails from Machida, Japan and Hitoshi Aki(11 - 2 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Igarashi and Aki weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Shibuya, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Enomoto, Isamu Nonaka and Nori Saito.  

Round 1: 

Igarashi lands a cross.
