Mitsuru Amano vs Nao Okubo

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 04/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the East Asian Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mitsuru Amano (9 - 0) who hails from Sakai, Japan and Nao Okubo(11 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Amano and Okubo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Nakazawa, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Mikami, Nori Saito and Hiroki Amaya.
