Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Event City, Manchester,  taking place on 05/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Danyaal Sham (13 - 1) who hails from Poole, UK and Paul McConnel(15 - 0) from Manchester, UK.  Sham weighed in at 248 pounds And 5 ounces, while McConnel weighed in at 249 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul McCalla, and the three ringside judges are Robert Goff, Dai Tierney and Ewan Goodlet.
