Alastair McAlpin vs Sid Saidu

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Deepdale Stadium, Preston,  taking place on 02/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alastair McAlpin (10(6) - 0) who hails from Preston, UK and Sid Saidu(9(3) - 3) from Derby, UK.  Both McAlpin and Saidu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley Hughes, and the three ringside judges are James McCarthy, Felix Markey and Chris Murphy.
