Mel Wheeling vs Brett Boward

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at New Kingston Lemmond, New Kingston,  taking place on 23/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Jamaica Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mel Wheeling (10(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Brett Boward(8 - 6) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Wheeling and Boward weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Haldane, and the three ringside judges are David Leith, Ricky Eckford and Ricky Eckford.  

Round 1:
