Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 23/09/2024:

Clearly AI Kenya-Mombasa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ibrahim Awad (3 - 12 - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Will Obiri(6 - 7 - 3) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Awad weighed in at 147 pounds, while Obiri weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Baldacchino, and the three ringside judges are Joey Keino, George Waciuma and Lewis Muriuki.
