Keiichi Yamasaki vs Nori Yamazaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Lampi Promotions promoted show at Nao Imai Gym, Hakodate,  taking place on 22/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Keiichi Yamasaki (8 - 2(2)) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Nori Yamazaki(4 - 6 - 2) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Yamasaki and Yamazaki weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Kaneko, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Sera, Yuichi Sano and Kyo Kawabata.  

Round 1: 

Yamasaki advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.

That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
