Alexander McBane vs Ulises Manzano

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Fonde Recreation Center, Houston,  taking place on 28/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Alexander McBane (10 - 0) who hails from Omaha, USA and Ulises Manzano(6 - 2) from Ensenada, Mexico.  McBane weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Manzano weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Bryde, and the three ringside judges are David Smyth, Andy Saenz and Mark Evans.

McBane voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Manzano accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on McBane.  
McBane lands an overhand right.  McBane attempts to land a jab, but Manzano sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
McBane switches the action to the outside.  Manzano attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores McBane's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Manzano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
McBane is looking to keep his distance.  Manzano sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McBane lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McBane lands a cross to the head, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.
