Zafa Akhter vs Rehman Jamil

Boxing Daily Report from the Archer Promotions promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Sinai, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 25/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zafa Akhter (9 - 4 - 5) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Rehman Jamil(8 - 5 - 3) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Akhter and Jamil weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Ebrahimi, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Kharoti, Jawad Bangura and Ibrahim Mohammed.  

Round 1: 

Akhter is looking to keep his distance.  Jamil is on target with an overhand left.
