Tariq Sharif vs Atif Omar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Selangor promoted show at Shah Alam Bey, Shah Alam,  taking place on 25/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Selangor Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Sharif (7 - 4 - 1) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Atif Omar(8 - 2 - 4) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Sharif weighed in at 122 pounds, while Omar weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Zadeh, and the three ringside judges are Asif Hashim, Adnan Faris and Adnan Faris.
