Leonel Alameda vs Jose Armijo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Guadalajara Diego, Guadalajara,  taking place on 25/09/2024:

Clearly AI Mexico-Jalisco have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Jalisco Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonel Alameda (8 - 10 - 3) who hails from Guadalajara, Mexico and Jose Armijo(4 - 7 - 1) from Tlaquepaque, Mexico.  Both Alameda and Armijo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Canada, and the three ringside judges are Jose Boda, Luis Meraz and Enzo Hinojosa.
