Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 14/09/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ashley Kinvoundou (3 - 0) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Shontae Letsholonyane(1 - 5 - 2) from Katlehong, South Africa.  Both Kinvoundou and Letsholonyane weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mahdi Jamin, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Mulder, Kyrone Letsholonyane and Max De Jager.  

Round 1: 

Kinvoundou gets on the inside and lands a left hook.

Kinvoundou lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Kinvoundou holds on to his opponent.  Kinvoundou pushes his forearm into Letsholonyane's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kinvoundou.

Kinvoundou steps inside.  Kinvoundou pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Kinvoundou hits home with a left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kinvoundou dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kinvoundou has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Letsholonyane lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
